Located in Orlando, Florida In Motion Dance Project is a 10,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art dance studio providing dance education and training for dancers ages 2 1/2 & up. We offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary and Acro.
From jumps and twirls to leaps and bounds... all levels of dancers — from first-timer minis to seasoned national dance champions — call In Motion Dance Project “home.” With a faculty of trained and experienced dance instructors/choreographers, we strive to provide a fun, nurturing environment where individuals can learn and appreciate the performing arts, receive physical activity and attain personal goals. Now in our 12th year as an award-winning dance studio, IMDP invites you to learn more about our recreational dance program, competitive dance company and our new 2015-2016 class schedule. The American Dance Awards named their "Elite 6," the highest scoring 6 numbers in the 12 & Under and 13 & over divisions. Congratulations to 12 & under duo Lila Blood and Tristan Hill for placing third. Congratulations, too, to 13 & over "Elite 6" soloists Kelsey Flanders (3rd) and Michaela Marfori (6th). Kelsey and Michaela's duo, "Alternate World" placed 2nd for overall 13 & over duos/trios.
At the Candance National Finals, IMDP Senior Mackenna LaRea was voted "Miss Congeniality" by her peers. Congratulations, Mackenna!
2016 IMDP alumnus, Lily Flanders, is currently performing as a professional dancer in "One Man's Dream" in Tokyo Disneyland. Lily has earned her actors equity card at just 18 years old! Way to go, Lily!
With the help of the our dance community, the 2016-2017 IMDP Ambassadors, Isabel Henson and Mackenna LaRea, raised over $1,000 for Camp Boggy Creek, a camp for seriously ill children. We are proud of our Ambassadors!
