In Motion Dance Project opened its doors over 19 years ago because its founders and owners Amanda Plesa & Api Photnetrakhom, saw the need for a place for families in Central Florida to take their children to learn the history and education of the art of dance and a place where they could grow up.

There are hundreds of dance studios in Central Florida, but there’s only one In Motion Dance Project. We’ve created a space that is a home away from home for our faculty and your students. Every single person who walks through those doors becomes our family. We couldn’t imagine our lives without every single one of our students.  Children deserve a place to dance, to explore, to grow, to mess up safely, to ask questions…not just about dance, but also about many of life’s issues and challenges. We are a team of educators that will explain a skill or step 100 different ways until we see our student have their “light bulb moment”.  We strive each day to educate dance techniques, how to become good people in society, and to discover who we are. 
 

Our 10,000 square foot facility currently houses 5 dance and acrobatic studios.  All studios are equipped with professional-grade spring floors. Come and visit us, or contact us at info@imdance.org
